The Lawrence Batley Theatre (LBT) is Huddersfield's premier live performance venue. Presenting a varied programme of work including drama, music, dance and comedy, there's something for eveyone to enjoy!
About Us
LBT is home to world premieres and Yorkshire-only dates for work of national significance and so is placed as one of the most forward thinking venues in the region. LBT is also home to a number of drama and musical societies and is a central focus point for the arts within the surrounding community. Set in a historic grade II* listed building the theatre has three performance spaces, the 477 seat main auditorium, the 120 capacity Syngenta Cellar Theatre and the 60 seat Attic Theatre which is also a rehearsal space. There are also excellent conference and meeting rooms and facilties which can be hired out.
LBT is located in the heart of Huddersfield and is easily accessible from the M62 as well as other major road and rail networks, making it easy and quick to travel from surrounding towns and cities including Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Sheffield, York, Dewsbury, Oldham, Wakefield, Barnsley, and Rochdale.
