About Us
In 1848 the Company was established. It began as a Coppersmith’s serving the building industry. We quietly evolved to become the UK’s second largest hot water cylinder manufacturer. From here the company diversified into the plumbing & heating industry as a plumber’s merchant and then on to become one of the largest and most prestigious independent bathroom retailers for the past 20 years.
Our fabulous bathroom showrooms based in Warrington, Manchester and Huddersfield are amongst the largest and best in the country with prices, like for like, that are second to none.
All are operated alongside our plumbers merchant business to provide in-depth knowledge of all equipment to supply beautiful and, more importantly, functional bathrooms.
Because we supply both to the trade and retail, we can also provide our bathroom customers with details of tradesmen who can install your selected bathroom equipment (see tradesmen menu). The 5th and 6th generation of the Baguley family own the business and remain actively involved in its day to day management.

As there are literally thousands of different alternatives available when choosing a bathroom, our staff are not simply there to take your order for what is on display but to use their professionalism to ensure that you receive the best possible advice on the products available that suits your requirements and your budget, at the best possible prices. All of our staff are also responsible for ensuring that the customer receives the goods ordered on time, and in the unlikely event of any faults arising, they are rectified as soon as possible and to the customer’s satisfaction. As a company we appreciate that customer satisfaction and recommendation are the best form of advertising and are essential to the well being of our business.
